A Day in the Life of a RN Test Observer
Under the direction of the Director of Professional Practice and Lead RN test observers, the RN Test Observer is responsible for validating Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) candidates during their skills and / or knowledge examinations. This role ensures that testing is conducted in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. The RN Test Observer works closely with Headmaster, LLP—the contracted third-party testing organization—to maintain compliance and uphold the integrity of the certification process.

Here is What You Will Be Doing :
Maintains all criteria required to ensure good standing as a test observer.Ensures all pre-testing correspondence is provided to candidates and manages testing schedules.Assists in simulation lab setup and breakdown and ensures all testing supplies are available and in stock.Objectively and impartially observes CNA candidates utilizing criteria set forth by Headmaster. during testingDirects and aids the actor in setting up of skills. Prompts the actor to ensure expeditious testing.Responsible for creating and maintaining a respectful test environment conducive to testing, giving each candidate a fair, unbiased, equal opportunity to demonstrate they know how to perform the tasks.Ensures all post-test documentation / forms are appropriately uploaded / sent to Headmaster via the TestMaster University website.Works closely with Simulation Coordinator and Simulation Tech to assist in scheduling Simulation Lab times for testing. Assists in maintaining Simulation Lab cleanliness and organization.Desired Skills :
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Internet ExplorerExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to demonstrate an independent work initiative and sound judgementKnowledge of medical terminology and basic human anatomyProficient in nursing skills related to the scope of the Certified Nurse AideHere is What You Need :
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursingWyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC)One (1) or more years of experience in long term care or care of chronically illNice to Have :
