Job Description
Job Title: Overnight Security Officer - Luxury Waterfront Hotel

Location: Stuart, FL

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift, Full-Time)

About the Role

A luxury hotel located on a premier waterfront property is seeking professional Overnight Security Officers to join its guest-focused protection team. This role is dedicated exclusively to the hotel and requires strong customer service skills and the physical stamina to patrol an expansive property throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct continuous walking patrols throughout interior and exterior hotel areas
  • Maintain a professional, high-visibility presence to support guest safety
  • Monitor entrances, hallways, guest floors, and restricted-access zones
  • Utilize security software to complete patrol tours, timekeeping, and incident reporting
  • Respond swiftly to safety concerns, guest requests, alarms, and emergencies
  • Support hotel management and uphold the property's luxury service standards
  • Document all incidents accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
  • Must be able to work 11 PM - 7 AM, overnight only (no exceptions)
  • Strong physical stamina: extended walking, standing, stair climbing, and outdoor/indoor movement
  • Proficiency with mobile/tablet security software (training provided)
  • Excellent communication and guest-service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Valid Florida Class D Security License
  • Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
  • Prior hotel or luxury hospitality security experience
  • Experience using digital tour/incident reporting software
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification
