Position Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Planning Manager, The Planning Manager will support the
attainment of the Company's targeted operational metrics which include, but are not limited
to: fill, inventory levels, service rates and lead times to customers, by continually improving
and balancing demand and supply planning. This position is responsible for the ongoing
execution and improvement of the Company's Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process.
The role of the Supply Planner will deliver value to ofi through innovative network planning
and optimization, and materials planning and management that optimizes the business
outcomes for ofi. The Planning Manager will frequently collaborate with all departments
throughout the organization and will be responsible for scheduling plant product
commodities.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to communicate effectively across all levels of
the organization. They will have strong attention to detail and will be able to manage multiple
competing priorities. Ability to think ahead and proactively work to solve any shortages in
supply will be key to success in this position.
Position Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and continual improvement of demand planning,
including but not limited to; maintenance of demand data, statistical forecast, customer
input process, internal input process, and execution.
• Responsible for the optimization of the Company's Supply Plans consistent with overall
corporate objectives.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each step of the
Company's S&OP Planning to ensure continual improvement.
• Monitor and enforce downstream accountabilities from S&OP and proactively engage
top management to ensure ongoing commitment.
• Make strategic recommendations to improve KPI positions and avoid shortfalls.
• Administer S&OP Supply Review Planning processes to aid in accurate supply &
demand forecasts.
• Plan and direct the Oxnard Planning team to attain optimum utilization of materials,
achieve capacity, yields and overall cost reduction.
• Champion S&OP Supply Planning Process & conduct it on a frequent basis to drive
inventories down while meeting sales commitments.
• Review current supply planning processes and identify opportunities to improve
fulfillment of the demand and sales orders while achieving inventory objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain network planning, Material
planning and capacity planning optimization (Processes / People / Systems).
• Maximize value of inventory by careful selection and disposition of inventories.
• Support quality of product line by careful scheduling of consistent input material,
ensuring adequate retesting of material to meet customer requirements, provide trace
ability, and work with Quality Assurance (QA) personnel on training issues, test results.
• Deliver Summary KPI reports relating to the performance and improvement activities
of the above processes and systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or another related field is
required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
Four (4) years supply chain management experience in planning, sourcing, and logistics is
required.

Proven track record of highly effective analysis and communication is required.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (MS) applications, especially Excel, required.
Strong understanding of Material Resource Planning (MRP/ERP/DRP) fundamentals and
processes is essential, preferably with proven experience implementing process
improvements.
Previous experience and working knowledge of SAP preferred.
Food or Consumer Product Goods (CPG) experience preferred.

Effective leadership and facilitator abilities within a team is required. Should have the
ability to influence and manage other internal customers
The pay for this role in the state of CA ranges from $72,000/yr - $96,000/yr and is based on
the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be
determined based on candidate’s experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors.
