Location : New York NY

Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks

Schedule : Day Shift 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $90 $92 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Pharmacist I to support clinical and dispensing operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role involves preparing and dispensing medications providing pharmacological guidance to interdisciplinary care teams and ensuring safe effective medication therapy for patients.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a timely manner in accordance with established policies and procedures

Review and resolve questions related to formulary and non-formulary medications

Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient-specific factors such as age and pharmacokinetics using evidence-based literature

Monitor patient drug therapies for safety efficacy and appropriateness

Educate patients on medication use including :

Proper dosing and administration

Adherence to prescribed schedules

Potential side effects

Drug-drug interactions

Collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

02 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist

Active Pharmacist license (state requirements apply)

Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

Excellent communication and patient education skills
