[job_card.job_description]Assign and manage daily tasks to keep production moving smoothly. Track progress and adjust workloads to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Maintain an efficient, organized, and safe work environment. Perform advanced MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on architectural and decorative projects . Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications. Complete in-process and final quality checks to ensure every piece meets our standards. Enforce OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols. Model safe practices and ensure the team follows them consistently. 7+ years of welding / fabrication experience -architectural metalwork strongly preferred. Proven mastery of MIG, TIG, Stick welding and decorative / structural fabrication. Ability to read complex drawings and translate them into precise, buildable work. Experience leading or supervising a shop floor team. A commitment to doing things safely, correctly, and with pride. Experience creating high-end custom architectural pieces (stairs, gates, railings, art panels). Working knowledge of CNC machinery and metalworking equipment. A portfolio that shows your craftsmanship-and your range. Is a skilled welder / fabricator first-and a teacher at heart. Loves being in the work, not above it. Balances quality with efficiency and never cuts corners. Enjoys a fast-paced, production-driven environment where craftsmanship matters. Hourly : $40-$50+Depends on Experience Schedule : Four-day work week Monday-Thursday | 5 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Paid Time Off (PTO) 8 Paid Holidays Additional benefits as applicable

At SF Metalworks , we're a California-born architectural metalworking shop known for precision, artistry, and a collaborative spirit. We're looking for a Shop Technical Lead -a hands-on master fabricator and welder who wants to lead from the shop floor, elevate craftsmanship, and mentor a talented team. Our key requirement is the ability to produce high end architectural and decorative products.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fabricators, welders, and CNC operators.
- Set the tone for craftsmanship, pace, and pride on the shop floor.
- Provide hands-on coaching that sharpens skills and strengthens team performance.
