PRN Physical Therapist - Lake Nona, FL.

To provide the highest level of patient care while accessing, interpreting, planning and

implementing prescribed physical therapy treatment plans.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• ?? Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy (PT) treatments for patients

suffering from injuries or disease and to restore function, prevent disability and relieve pain.

• ?? Consults with physicians and / or other departments about the impact of PT factors on patient

heath status.

• ?? Documents findings, treatments and other patient information for medical record as necessary.

Bills patients according to proper procedures.

• ?? Educates patient / family on appropriate care and use of various therapies and / or exercises.
• ?? Serves as an information and education resource for patients, families and other members of the

therapy staff.

• ?? Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
• ?? Performs related work as required.
• ?? Recommends solutions to patient care problems.
• ?? Maintains patient confidentiality
• ?? Performs other duties as assigned.

• ?? Utilize effective communication skills (written and verbal) interacting with co-workers, other

clinic employees, supervisors, and outside vendors.

• ?? Promote The Hughston Clinic's role in the community by greeting and interacting with all

patients, families, visitors, vendors, and guests in a courteous and respectful manner.

• ?? Provides support or relief for other staff as needed.
• ?? Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects to include both patient and non-patient issues.
• ?? Reflect THC values and is sensitive to THC's ethical and compliance principals in his / her daily

activities.

• ?? Promote resolution of concerns and conflict by routing through correct mechanism or resolving

the situation.
