Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including in-depth physical examinations and assessments of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by evaluating imaging results and lab data
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement patient-centric surgical plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and assisting with instrument handling
• Administer exceptional preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education, wound management, and discharge protocols

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strongly preferred: Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required: BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Robust understanding of surgical techniques and sterile procedures
