Driver I

Responsible for transporting materials, components, and finished manufactured parts between company facilities, suppliers, and customers while maintaining compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. Responsible for verifying loads for accuracy, securing cargo according to safety standards and delivery documentation. Maintains deliver logs and trip records in accordance with DOT and company policies. Supports inventory control by helping warehouse staff when deliveries are not in progress.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Reviews paperwork and verifies counts for all items to be transported
• Safely and efficiently load and unload items using company vehicle
• Safely and efficiently transport items to required destinations
• Maintains cleanliness of company vehicle
• Maintains maintenance of company vehicle
• Must maintain an excellent driving record
• Adheres to all safety protocols and company procedures, including handling of sensitive or high-value manufactured parts
• Accurately completes all required paperwork
• Abiding by and supporting all safety and quality system requirements
