[job_card.job_description]Monitor overall appearance and cleanliness of the building Coordinate maintenance and repair work with directors and contractors to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of courts Monitor all walkways and flower beds and keep clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, etc. Develop annual court maintenance plan / log, including but not limited to the repairing / cleaning Operate and maintain sports equipment Maintain all trees, shrubbery and flower beds Operate machinery to include but not limited to all equipment Clean and maintain parking lot Keep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logs Make sure all paperwork is up to date Follow up with guests to learn how the facility can be improved Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by management Must have experience working with synthetic turf sports fields, sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment Thorough understanding of the sport's governing bodies' requirements for field layout and marking Working knowledge of sports field construction principles, practices and methods General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping High School Diploma or equivalent certification requirements Understand and follow both oral and written instructions Work independently with minimal supervision Effective time management skills Prior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures Candidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Possess or ability to obtain a valid Driver's License Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds Will be required to work in all weather conditions Will be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms Will be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust Will be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities : semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and / or confining spaces : underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and / or back Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. lift for scoreboards, etc.) Facility has intermittent noise

POSITION SUMMARY :
The Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist the Facility Manager with the daily upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds. This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks requiring skilled or special knowledge acquired through on-the-job training or experience. The Facility Maintenance Team Member will provide supervision of and provide assistance to team members in the completion of various tasks and day-to-day maintenance duties as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Facility Maintenance
- Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility
- Inventory, organize, and stock up closets, toolboxes and maintenance areas
- Maintain and repair playing surfaces
- Schedule and perform maintenance on facility equipment
- Coordinate with Directors on facility repairs to avoid conflicts
- Contract maintenance with outside vendors when necessary
Grounds Maintenance
