Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Security Engineer, Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

Build security into the AI platform through threat modeling, secure architecture design, and integrating security considerations into product decisions

Own and evolve the application security program, including SAST / DAST scanning, security code reviews, and automation to catch vulnerabilities

Partner with engineering teams to establish secure coding standards and design security features for customer environments

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in application security engineering with a focus on large-scale production systems

Understanding of developer workflows and experience in fast-growing startups or high-growth environments

Technical expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript / TypeScript)

Knowledge of security tools and methodologies, including SAST / DAST solutions and DevSecOps practices

A builder's mindset focused on automation and scaling security without creating bottlenecks
