Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Staten Island, NY!

Earn up to $39 / hour | Contract Role | Flexible Options : W-2 or 1099

We are looking for passionate, skilled Occupational Therapy Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether you prefer the flexibility of contract work or the stability of full-time benefits, we have an option for you! What You'll Do

  • Provide direct, hands-on therapy services to residents in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist
  • Contribute to personalized treatment plans, documenting patient progress and communicating improvements or concerns
  • Support and motivate residents as they work toward achieving functional independence and improved quality of life
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights, strategies, and outcomes with a collaborative rehab team
  • Maintain confidentiality and support patient rights with compassion and respect

    • What You Bring to the Table

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy and a current New York State license
  • Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or a similar setting is a plus!
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction

  • Comfortable with the emotional demands of working with residents experiencing varying physical and cognitive challenges
  • Reliable and committed to maintaining professional standards, punctuality, and teamwork
