We are looking for experienced Pizza, Pasta, and Grill cooks to join us in that work.

Open night and day, Wildland is a restaurant, bar and bakery inspired by the vibrant community of North County, celebrating the creative culture of California and bringing bold ideas to the timeless traditions of France and Italy.

Located in Carlsbad Village, a stones throw from our other restaurants (Campfire, Lilo and Jeune et Jolie), and a few blocks from the ocean, we created Wildland as our ideal restaurant for the every day.

When we started working on this project three years ago, we asked ourselves, what all-day restaurant do we wish already existed? What could we imagine? Well, of course there would be super delicious food, where everything is made in house.  We would want it to feel incredibly approachable,  but also elevated, thoughtful  and beautiful. It would need to have an in-house bakery, wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta and rotisserie chicken, and of course feature produce from some of our favorite local farms. It would need those things simply because we love all of those things.  And it would need to be a big space, with plenty of outdoor dining, so that it could truly serve as a gathering space for the community.

Wildland definitely is an ambitious restaurant, and it deserves a driven and dedicated team. So we are looking for people who are joyful, reliable, curious, passionate, and ready to show up every day for each other and for our guests, ensuring that the time every person spends with us, is time well-spent.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

  • Wages between $23-$25 / hr (inclusive of tip share)

    • PROFESSIONAL / ENVIRONMENTAL / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach / extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
