Job Description :

• Teach and advise within the Surgical Technology Program options.
• Perform clinical visits in the OR in order to evaluate students' progress through clinical rotations in the Surgical Technology Program.
• Actively participate in the assessment of the overall effectiveness of the Surgical Technology Program options' curriculum and delivery.
• Actively participate in the assessment of compliance with all Accreditation Standards and maintenance of programmatic accreditation in assigned areas
• Represent the Surgical Technology Program with healthcare organizations.
• Actively participate in the orientation and training of clinical preceptors and staff specific to programmatic policies and outcomes.
• Maintain expertise in area of teaching responsibility.
• Actively participate and collaborate with faculty and staff within the Surgical Technology at BHCC.
• Collaborate and work with the Surgical Technology Faculty / Staff, Dean and Assistant Dean of the Health Science Division regarding all aspects of the Surgical Technology program needs, assessment, and on-going operations.
• Actively participate as a faculty member in the general College community and fulfill duties as stipulated in the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary : $1,397.00 per credit hour
