Established over 50 years ago in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, Heart Care Centers of Illinois (HCCI) is a private practice comprised of 29 Board Certified Cardiovascular Physicians who offer a complete spectrum of advanced cardiovascular care at 10 area hospitals and 6 surrounding offices. Our mission at HCCI is to provide the highest quality of care for our patients' long term and comprehensive cardiovascular health. We stress the most current and proven innovations in the areas of diagnostic cardiac examination, cardiovascular intervention and surgery, and heart-healthy therapeutic options.

Job Highlights

Heart Care Centers of Illinois sees over 100,000 patients annually, offers in-office diagnostic testing and a full line of complex outpatient Arterial and Venous interventions in our outpatient Vascular Lab. Advanced services include the following clinics : Heart Transplant / Artificial Heart, TAVR, Advanced CHF, Pulmonary Hypertension, Venous Insufficiency, Severe Hypertension, and Lipids.

  • Full-time Interventional Cardiologist with focus on Coronary and bread and butter procedures. Opportunity is available for Structural and Peripheral procedures if physician has interest / training.
  • Collegial work environment that consists of 31 Cardiologists (16 IC, 5 EP, 2 HF, 8 NI), 8 APPs and over 200 support staff members.
  • Interventional services include :

    • all coronary procedures diagnostic and interventions

  • Peripheral upper / lower, venous, carotid and aneurysm
  • ASD / PFO closure
  • Structural including TAVR, Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair, Percutaneous Tricuspid Valve Repair, Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Call responsibilities shared equally with other 16 other physicians.
  • Position will offer a base salary with additional bonuses and incentives.
  • Additional equity & partnership opportunities available

    • Qualifications

  • B / C in Cardiovascular Medicine and B / C or B / E in Interventional Cardiology
  • Coronary procedures required. Interest and training in Peripheral procedures is plus.
  • Completion of a US Accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology program
  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
