Industrial Maintenance Technician

TekPro is partnered with a successful food processor in Milwaukee in their search for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their long-term! The position is on 2nd shift with 10+ hours of overtime per week, competitive hourly pay and excellent health and retirement benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the repair and upkeep of the facility and processing / packaging machinery.

Perform preventative (PM)

maintenance

tasks on company equipment.

Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs

Repair plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

Work on electrical up to 480v

Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI

Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards.

Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping.

Other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and / or

experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

1-5+ years of related experience in packing machines / production machines

in the food industry

Compliance and understanding of safety rules and regulations

Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team setting.

You should be proficient in :

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• 120 / 208 / 240 / 480 Voltage Systems
• Electrical Troubleshooting
