ORDER PROCESSOR

Picker / Packer

As a Picker / Packer you will work in a warehouse. Your main duty will be filling orders and assisting with the inventory. You will be working closely with vendors and warehouse staff to pick up, and process orders as they come in. Must be familiar with the layout of the warehouse and inventory and be able to pick and move items as requested.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the activities and assignment of all Pickers and Packers daily. Ensure the timely picking, packing, and shipping of all order types per SMART Objectives Release and sort pick work based upon priority of shipments being released. Group the ordered items for placement in a tote or box. Transport the product in a tote or box by conveyor or push cart to pack stations where the shipment(s) will be processed and packed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and / or Manager Utilize ScanworkX to process all shipments; emphasis on scanning all 2d barcodes for required items. Fold, stack or otherwise neatly arrange product in container(s), using necessary packing materials in order to prevent breakage or damage to the product being shipped Ensure D365 container label and packing list for each shipment. Container label is used by manifest to ensure shipment is accurately processed

Must learn Standard Operating Procedures for picking and packing of product, and of warehouse operations Be able to handle Manufacturing Practices and operate accordingly. Must be able to follow directions Comply with deadlines Be able to work independently

Qualifications

Must be able to use critical thinking Proficient in spreadsheets and documents. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Train all new Pickers and Packers.
