An independent, non-profit, community-based hospital, designated as a Critical Access Hospital in central Maine, is adding a Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician. The hospital serves a broad rural region of Somerset County and provides 24 / 7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, and a network of specialty and primary care physicians close to home.

About the opportunity :

  • Outpatient FP with Obstetrics
  • OB, Peds, GYN (colposcopies & LEEP procedures), geriatrics
  • This is a 5-provider practice
  • Call 1 : 7
  • The office is located in a Medical Office Building attached to the hospital

Compensation / Benefits :

  • Employed position with a robust salary plus full benefits
  • Loan reimbursement and relocation assistance are available
  • 7 weeks PTO, including vacation, sick, holiday, CME
  • $4000 / year CME funds

    • Community / Location :

  • Located in central Maine, in a town of 8000 people
  • One hour from Bangor and just 90 minutes to Portland
  • 3 hours to Boston or Quebec, Canada
  • We have a quaint town center with a cinema, shopping, restaurants, and a Riverwalk
  • Outdoor recreation includes white water rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and trout fishing
  • Highly rated schools. New schools are being built
