Product Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Product Manager to join the Digital Video Platform team and be responsible for the execution of their Android Video Player frameworks. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, QA, and analytics partners to deliver playback experiences for multiple business units and stakeholders within this organization. This is a remote role, however some flexibility with working hours is required as you will work with and support global teams. You will own the product roadmap, backlog, and see the process through end to end. You will also define and maintain sprint goals, write, refine and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and product briefs for video player functionality. From a technical perspective you will develop working knowledge of playback architecture, media streaming, ad insertion, and analytics. You will support feature validation, bug triage, and continuous quality improvements across platforms. Skills and Requirements : 35 years of Product Management experience in a technical or media-related domain. Experience with video playback technologies (HLS, ExoPlayer, AVPlayer, Roku Media Player). Familiarity with video QoE metrics, adaptive bitrate (ABR) algorithms, and analytics platforms (Conviva, Mux, Adobe Analytics). Experience own end to end process; Jira tickets, product backlog, user stories etc Proven ability to manage agile delivery cycles, prioritize competing demands, and drive features to completion. Strong technical curiosity able to learn quickly, ask smart questions, and communicate effectively with engineers. Comfort working flexible hours (within reason) to support distributed teams or major live events Experience with RESTful APIs, Postman, Charles. Exposure to performance and scalability testing, monitoring tools, or CI / CD workflows. Background in software engineering, QA, or technical project management.
