A company is looking for a Tax Reporting Specialist to manage client tax reporting information and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and update nonresident alien account documentation per IRS requirements
Prepare year-end IRS Forms such as 1099, 1099R, 5498, and 1042-S
Reconcile cost basis reporting and monitor tax-related inquiries from clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
3+ years of experience in tax and cost basis reporting within the brokerage industry
Knowledge of IRS reporting regulations and tax withholding procedures
Experience with financial processing and corporate actions
CPA certification is a plus
