About the Role

We are looking for an experienced US Recruiter with a solid background in accounting / bookkeeping to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for accounting and finance positions from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. Your accounting knowledge will allow you to accurately assess technical skills and ensure the best fit for both the candidate and the organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, provide market insights, and deliver a high-quality recruitment experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Recruit specifically for 1099 and contract-based accounting and finance roles
• Leverage AI and develop tools using OpenAI to streamline and optimize the recruiting funnel
• Bring a background in HR or people leadership to navigate sensitive conversations and candidate interactions
• Apply strong copywriting skills to craft compelling outreach and job marketing materials
• Operate with a content- and community-driven mindset to attract talent through engagement rather than cold outreach
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for accounting and finance roles
• Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channels
• Review resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates' technical accounting abilities
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance on role requirements and market trends
• Maintain an active pipeline of accounting talent for current and future hiring needs
• Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
