Position Summary
The Marketing Graphic Designer plays a central role in elevating the Heathos brand and its expanding family of sub-brands, each operating within a regulated healthcare and financial services environment. This position goes beyond traditional design responsibilities by acting as a steward of a house-of-brands structure, ensuring clarity, cohesion, and strategic alignment across Heathos and its three sub-brands.
The ideal candidate understands how to maintain consistency within an overarching brand framework while tailoring creative assets to the unique goals, audiences, and compliance considerations of each brand. They are skilled at translating complex, regulation-driven concepts into visually engaging, easy-to-understand materials that support trust, credibility, and differentiation in the marketplace.
This role thrives at the intersection of creativity, structure, and strategy - collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape brand perception, support product expansion, and deliver high-quality visuals that reinforce the mission and values of Heathos and its affiliated brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design & Content Creation
Design visually consistent marketing materials including brochures, flyers, product one‑pagers, pitch decks, infographics, trade show materials, and event collateral.
Produce branded visual content for digital channels such as email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, and online advertisements.Support development of multimedia assets including GIFs, animations, motion graphics, and simple video edits to enhance storytelling.Assist with layout design for internal communications, training materials, and company announcements.Translate complex concepts into clear, visually engaging graphics.Brand ManagementMaintain and uphold the Heathos visual identity across all design materials.
Evolve and steward brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of typography, color palettes, imagery, icons, and voice.Support rebrand initiatives, product branding efforts, and brand expansion across new service lines.Conduct periodic brand audits to identify gaps and ensure consistency.Digital Media & Platform SupportDesign graphics and page elements for Heathos' websites, agent portals, and e‑commerce experiences.
Develop creative assets supporting SEO, digital advertising, and conversion‑focused landing pages.Partner with Digital Marketing to enhance UX / UI through clean visual design and intuitive layout.Build and export web‑optimized assets, maintaining best practices for responsiveness and accessibility.Creative Collaboration & Marketing StrategyParticipate in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product launches, performance marketing, and brand storytelling.
Work closely with the Director, Brand and other team members to understand business goals and audience needs.Provide creative recommendations that align with strategic objectives and support sales enablement.Collaborate with internal partners such as Product, Sales, Compliance, and Carrier Relations to support cross‑department initiatives.Project & Workflow ManagementManage multiple design requests simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
Clearly communicate project status, timelines, and requirements.Maintain organized design files, version control, and naming conventions.Coordinate with external vendors such as printers, illustrators, photographers, and videographers.Assist in building scalable design systems and templates for repeatable use.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.3-5 years of professional design experience; experience within insurance, financial services, healthcare, or TPA industries is a plus.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and Canva.Experience with motion graphics, simple video editing, or animation preferred.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, or basic web design principles is a plus.Strong conceptual thinking and ability to understand and visually translate business needs.Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
