Michigan Licensed Residential Title Examiner

A company is looking for a Residential Title Examiner (Remote - if residing in Michigan).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct examinations of property titles to determine legal status and identify defects or encumbrances

Analyze deeds, mortgages, liens, and judgments for accuracy and compliance

Prepare preliminary title reports and summaries, highlighting issues or discrepancies

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, required

Associate's degree or equivalent experience, preferred

2 years related office experience, required

Minimum of 2 years of title insurance abstracting, examination, or title insurance underwriting / risk experience, required

Valid Title Producer's License, as required by applicable state law
