Responsibilities :

The Microsoft Developer will support Barrow Wise's Illinois State Retirement System project and perform the following duties :

• Migrate the legacy mainframe platform to a modernized Microsoft Platform
• Implement a new solution to reduce the number of platforms
• Support existing pension system modules
• Sync data from the legacy system to the new system
• Design, develop, unit test, debug, integration test, and implement C# applications
• Configure SQL Server, including stored procedures and general RDBMS concepts
• Utilize Component One UI software, Aspose, and Syncfusion UI
• Perform peer code reviews
• Display knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture
• Utilize Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Entity Framework
• Utilize Agile software development methodology
• Experience Developing and Implementing Pension Systems
• Work remotely
