Position : Test Engineer (Cedar Rapids IA)

Job Overview : We areseeking a Test Engineer to support ongoing engineering this role you will collaborate closely with team members to test and maintain a variety of engineering devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing test procedures ensuring device stability and contributing to successful software releases.

This is a contract role.

What you will be doing as a Test Engineer

Execute both automated and manual test suites on GNSS-based receivers

Test GNSS CP and various device OS functionalities

Drive innovation in testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Monitor baseline health through integration testing

Troubleshoot and root-cause engineering issues through analytical testing

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Test Engineer

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Proficiency in Python C and C

Experience with testing methodologies and debugging engineering systems

Self-motivated with strong task execution and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a globally distributed team

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Desired (but not required) : Knowledge of GNSS principles including signal generation transmission reception measurement construction and position calculation
