Elderwood at Cheektowaga Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants to join our clinical team! Shift Differentials for evenings, nights & weekends : up to $3.00 / Hour Currently Hiring Days 6 AM - 2 PM - every other weekend, or part-time 3 days / week (22.5 hours) Evenings 2 PM - 10 PM - every other weekend or 2 or 3 shifts / week, or full-time 5 days / week (37.5 hours) Additional Elderwood Benefits as a CNA (must qualify) : Tuition Reimbursement Programs Employee Referral Bonus 401K with Employer Matching PTO & Holiday Package Full Suite of affordable Health Benefits - Medical, Dental & Vision If you are not yet a CNA and are looking for CNA training, please note that our facility is not currently hosting CNA classes. You must have a valid CNA certification to qualify for this position at Elderwood at Cheektowaga.

Responsibilities

(CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant) :

• Direct and monitor the personal care duties carried out by Nursing Assistants of an assigned team.
• Report to Charge Nurse unusual symptoms, daily needs and progress of residents.
• Notify Charge Nurse of changes in residents' conditions or needs
• Follow the Profile of Care for each resident and monitor the performance of the Nursing Assistants in carrying out the appropriate aspects of the care plan.
• Responsible for responding immediately to residents' requests.
• Assist residents with the following Activities of Daily Living (ADL), according to their plan of care and individual needs.
