  • Classroom 7 : 00 - 8 : 30 am as a opener / Kitchen and other cleaning duties start at 9 : 30 am but you will come back into the classroom to help as needed and most meals don't take the full time - you will help in the classroom.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cook / Opener / Childcare Worker to join our team! As an employee, you will be working in the kitchen and spend some time with the kids in the classroom each day to prepare the food portions, keep the kitchen clean, clean tables, sweep, mop, prepare supply list and while in the classroom you will assist the teacher, take kids to the bathroom, change pull-ups, manage young children by using techniques we will teach you.

The ideal candidate has a great character, job integrity and dedication, punctual, respectful, excellent work ethic, great cleaning skills, humble, excellent customer service skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working on your feet and moving around while able to manage young children.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare kids meals
  • Restock food and cleaning supplies items as needed
  • Serve teachers and children as needed, and assist them in finding what they are looking for
  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times
  • Follow all food safety guidelines
  • Work and manage young children
  • Able to learn quickly
  • Able to work in a fast-paced job environment

  • Familiarity with best practices when it comes to food safety desired

    • We are a small company and our legal minimum wage is lower than the normal - please investigate this before you apply - only
