[job_card.job_description]Assisting in shipping and receiving, loading / unloading truck shipments, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing. Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and / or shipped. Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. Assembling customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Opening bales, crates, boxes, and other containers. Operating company vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program or document. Assisting in counting of physical inventory. Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Preparing parcels and packages for shipping. Sweeping, dusting, and mopping designated work areas and emptying garbage’s into dumpsters.

Job Summary : Assist the warehouse manager by performing product order processing duties including preparing, loading, and packaging orders, and general inventory control. Daily forklift usage.
Hours :
Scheduled 40hrs per week
Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5pm
Compensation :
$18.50 - $20.00 / hr Starting DOE
Full-time benefits after respective intro periods include : Employee Health, Life, Dental Insurance options paid by company, 401K, PTO, and options for supplemental coverage, vision, and FSA / HSA accounts for qualifying participants.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
To be eligible for the position, candidate must :
- Have earned a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to pass a drug screen & physical examination.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs boxes of products and materials.
- Have the ability to use common hand tools, handle small parts, and operate assembly machines.
- Work well with others
- Have forklift experience and be able to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Be able to apply basic math principles.
- Work under time constraints and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Be reliable, punctual, and maintain scheduled work hours.
