As a Network Engineer, you will help keep critical services connected and secure by strengthening and modernizing the network that employees rely on every day. This role blends design-level engineering with real-world troubleshooting, with a strong focus on firewall policy and secure connectivity. Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for voice, data, video, and wireless services.
- Manage and update networks, including hardware, software, and VPNs.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment and security systems.
- Provide advanced support for PCs, printers, and user configurations.
- Communicate issues, train staff, and assist in designing new system features.
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment selection and support.
- Ensure network security, stability, and proactive threat management.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical support.
- Lead technical projects and provide network-related project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IS/ Computer Science or a related area (or 5 years of experience equivalent) required.
- Palo Alto firewall experience
- CCNA certification minimum
- Experience in migrating Extreme Networks infrastructure to Arista Networks solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP preferred
- Master’s Degree in IS/ Computer Science or a related area preferred
- 5 – 10 years in network engineering and design preferred
- Azure experience
