Commercial Litigation Attorney

A highly respected New York law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience, ideally involving real estate-related matters and construction law disputes.

Responsibilities include :

Drafting and arguing motions

Taking and defending depositions

Managing discovery, including document production and e-discovery review

Preparing witnesses for hearings, trials, and arbitrations

Participating in trials or evidentiary hearings

Negotiating settlements and client resolutions

Qualifications :

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

In-depth knowledge of New York civil procedure

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation :

Salary range of $220,000 – $250,000 , commensurate with experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
