[job_card.job_description]Active CPA license or successful completion of all exam parts. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Tax Manager, preferably within a Big 4 or Top 100 CPA firm. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from a reputable institution (UF, FSU, UM, or equivalent) with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.4. Strong technical expertise in partnership taxation and real estate structures. Residence in South Florida, within a 45-minute radius of the Las Olas office for occasional meetings and mentoring sessions. Base Salary : $225,000 $250,000 Profit Sharing : Receive 50% of profits from clients you originate Annual Bonus 401(k) Match : 4% Health, Dental & Vision Insurance : Firm covers 50% 6 Weeks PTO, potentially extending to 810 weeks with compressed workweeks 1,550 Minimum Billable Hours, one of the lowest in the industry Compressed Workweeks : Enjoy Fridays off by completing work early
Tax Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Tax Manager with a specialized focus in Real Estate and Partnership taxation to join a forward-thinking, fully remote public accounting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a highly regarded and innovative firm that champions flexibility and a people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and review complex Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065).
- Engage directly with real estate clients, including owners and operators of commercial and residential rental properties such as office buildings, retail centers, malls, and apartment complexes.
- Manage complex partner allocations, special partnership structures, and multi-tiered entities.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research to ensure adherence to partnership and real estate tax laws.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, providing technical training and career development.
- Support business development efforts, benefiting from profit-sharing on clients you bring in.
