Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, which include thorough physical tests and meticulous assessments of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory findings
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to successfully devise and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing surgical areas, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during essential moments of the procedure
• Facilitate outstanding pre-and post-operative patient care, including administering medications, caring for wounds, and planning discharge processes, alongside patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice

Certifications and Credentials

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
