Position Name : Manufacturing Engineering Lead / Manager

Location : Sparks MD

Mandatory : Medical Device Industry is MUST

Essential skills and qualifications :

  • Educational background : A bachelors degree in mechanical with Plant manufacturing engineering background.
  • Mechanical engineering Market knowledge Negotiation skills Relationship management and Project management skills.

Key responsibilities :

  • Vendor selection and negotiation : Coordinate the selection of new vendors and lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms pricing and conditions.
  • Contract management : Ensure vendor performance aligns with contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLAs) through regular monitoring and evaluation.
  • Relationship management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and serve as a primary point of contact.
  • Performance monitoring : Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Work with internal departments like procurement legal and finance to align vendor activities with company goals and project requirements.
  • Issue resolution : Professionally resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise with vendors.
  • Process improvement : Identify and implement improvements to vendor management onboarding and procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
