Position Overview :
AtlantiCare, southeastern New Jersey’s leading health system, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Division Director of Otolaryngology (ENT) to lead its expanding ENT division. As part of AtlantiCare’s ambitious Vision 2030 transformation plan—driven by innovation, clinical excellence, and compassionate care—in partnership with Drexel University and The Cleveland Clinic, this leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of ENT services in the region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the ENT division, aligned with Vision 2030’s objectives.
- Oversee clinical practice, academic initiatives, and administrative functions within the department.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care emphasizing minimally invasive surgical techniques and cutting-edge technologies.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including cancer care partnerships with The Cleveland Clinic.
- Promote clinical innovation through the utilization of advanced surgical platforms, including five Da Vinci Xi robotic systems.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team comprising four board-certified ENT surgeons and two advanced practice providers.
- spearhead research and educational programs in collaboration with Drexel University, advancing academic excellence.
- Engage actively in community outreach efforts to improve healthcare access, reduce disparities, and enhance community health outcomes.
- Cultivate a diverse, skilled, and dedicated surgical team, emphasizing workforce development and mentorship.
- Maintain a robust surgical volume with guaranteed operating room block time from day one.
- Participate in a shared call schedule (1 : 4), supported by APPs and hospitalist teams.
Candidate Qualifications :
Current Board Eligible or Board Certified in Otolaryngology (ENT) at the time of application.Demonstrated clinical experience beyond training; not suitable for recent graduates or fellows.Not open to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), locum, or 1099 contractors.Candidates requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.Strong leadership skills complemented by a commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.Certifications and Licensing :
ACLS and BLS certifications.Valid DEA registration.Controlled Substance Registration (CSR / CDS) as required.Compensation and Benefits :
