JOB SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE : The Compression / Injection Molding Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating compression and / or injection molding machines, inspecting the produced parts for defects, and maintaining and troubleshooting the machinery as necessary. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience in an industrial setting and is familiar with the safety procedures and quality control standards related to compression and / or injection molding.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :

• Setting up and operating compression and / or injection molding machines in accordance with the production schedule.
• Inspecting the produced parts for quality and conformity with the specifications.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting the compression and / or injection molding machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Documenting the production and inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the material handling and preparation as required.
• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations within the plant.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or manager.
• May include other duties as assigned and / or special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a Compression and / or Injection Molding Operator or a similar role in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of injection molding machinery.

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality control.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Willingness to work in shifts and during weekends if necessary.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Plant setting. The role involves physical work and may require lifting heavy items or standing for extended periods.

Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management, and quality systems requirements.
