[job_card.job_description]Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision-machined aerospace components. Collaborate with design and production teams to enhance manufacturability and reduce lead times. Utilize CAD / CAM software to develop tooling, fixtures, and machining programs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating manufacturing processes. Train and support production staff on best practices and process improvements. Maintain documentation of manufacturing procedures and process control plans. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and precision manufacturing techniques. Proficiency in CAD / CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar). Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Work with cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing technologies.
