Position Summary

The Packaging Supervisor oversees daily packaging operations and performs routine packaging tasks to ensure cannabis products are packaged, labeled, and prepared for distribution in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role supports production goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, hygiene, and efficiency. This position will be Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3 : 30PM.

Responsibilities

The Packaging Supervisor manages day-to-day packaging operations with a focus on safety, compliance, and productivity under the direction of the Packaging Manager. This position leads, trains, and supervises Packaging Technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and performance management. The Supervisor ensures packaging and labeling regulations are followed, monitors packaging supplies to prevent production disruptions, enforces quality control and inventory procedures, and coordinates with Cultivation, Product Manufacturing, and Sales teams to support efficient operations. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized workspace, scheduling equipment maintenance, identifying process improvements, and communicating clearly and respectfully with peers and leadership. Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus on complex processes are essential.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least one year of cannabis packaging experience, working knowledge of packaging and labeling regulations, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required to meet production needs. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods on concrete floors, perform repetitive hand movements, climb stairs or ladders, and lift 10-20 pounds regularly with the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
