Position : Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology

Effective Date : August 17, 2026 (Fall Semester)

Salary Range : The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary is $74,652 to $158,688 per year; $6,221 - $13,224 / month. The anticipated hiring range is $80,000 to $95,000 / per year; $6,667 - $7,917 / month for the Assistant Professor level. Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications :

• . in counseling psychology or clinical psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited program. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2026.
• Demonstrated experience providing counseling and / or mental health services, especially in culturally responsive ways that serve a racially, linguistically and socioeconomically diverse clientele
• Demonstrated potential for, or existing record of, published scholarship and an ongoing program of research in a clinically-relevant domain
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socio-economic and first-generation students
