Our Story We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Over the years, we've grown tremendously in size, scope and capability, building a home in new markets over time, and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.

We have a rich history at Tenet. There are so many stories of compassionate care; so many 'firsts' in terms of medical innovation; so many examples of enhancing healthcare delivery and shaping a business that is truly centered around patients and community need. MRI Technologist Per Diem Rotating Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

THE MRI TECHNOLOGIST PER DIEM ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education :

Required : Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.

Preferred : Associate degree or Bachelor's degree

Experience :

Preferred : 1-3 years

Certifications :

Required :  ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and / or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire.  AHA BLS.  State license if required

Preferred :  ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
