Job Title : PL / SQL Developer

Location : New YorkNY

Type : Contract - Onsite

Experience : 10 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain relational database schemas aligned with business and application requirements.
  • Develop and manage complex database objects including :

Stored Procedures

  • Functions
  • Packages
  • Triggers
  • Work extensively on advanced database features such as :

    • Table Partitioning

  • Database Links
  • Materialized Views
  • Ref Cursors
  • External Tables
  • Collections
  • Dynamic SQL
  • Implement and support file handling mechanisms using database scripts.
  • Perform SQL query optimization and tuning to improve performance and scalability.
  • Manage and support database job scheduling and batch processing.
  • Handle and manage time-series data efficiently ensuring performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
  • Ensure database reliability scalability and maintainability through best practices.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in database design and development.
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle PL / SQL and / or PostgreSQL (pgPL / SQL).
  • Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience with batch job scheduling and automated database processes.
  • Solid understanding of time-series data management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical database designs.
