[job_card.job_description]Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progression Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric emergencies Administer medications, including epidural support and labor augmentation per protocol Educate and support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and neonatal teams Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery experience required AWHONN / Fetal Heart Monotiling cert. BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred (facility dependent) Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpreting EFM strips Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations Flexibility to work PRN shifts based on census needs Per-diem schedule (shifts vary by department needs) Day, night, and weekend availability preferred Premium PRN hourly rates No guaranteed hours Opportunity for future ongoing PRN contracts or extensions Medical benefits Dental benefits Life insurance Weekly pay License and certification reimbursement Holiday Pay 401k retirement plan Referral bonus
