The Center provides long-term skilled nursing care and short-term post-acute rehabilitation, including a 30-bed ventilator unit. Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work under the direction and supervision of RNs and LPNs to enhance the residents' experience by providing basic nursing care.

Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming of residents

Transferring residents while ensuring health, comfort, and safety

Documents all care provided

Reports changes in resident's status to primary nurse.

Performs advanced functions including vital signs, skin health, and promotion of wound healing.

Uphold integrity by following professional standards, Pyramid Health policies and procedures, and compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Maintaining active CNA & CPR / BLS certifications

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Active GA CNA Certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Minimum Experience

Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR)

Basic medical terminology

Required Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Basic computer skills to include data entry.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
