Job Title : RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location : Morristown, NJ

Pay Rate : $80 / Hour (Travel Package Offered)

Contract Length : 13 weeks with Extensions

On-Call : No

Schedule : 3x12, 36 hours with Rotating weekends

Days : 7AM - 7PM
NIghts : 7 PM - 7 AM

Requirements :

NJ or Compact State RN License (Active)

Certifications : AHA ACLS, BLS (Required)

Education : Nursing degree (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)

Experience : 2 years of strong L&D background, patient education, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health and progress of laboring patients, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.

Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding the labor process and delivery options.

Assist with the delivery of newborns, ensuring safe practices are followed.

Perform patient assessments to identify any complications or changes in condition.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients.

Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EPIC).
