Position Overview

The Survey Chief will lead and manage surveying projects, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality in data collection and analysis. This role requires expertise in geospatial analysis and land surveying, with a focus on project management and technical reporting.

This company does NOT layoff their surveyors in the winter. Normal work hours are 6 : 30 am-4pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise surveying projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct geospatial analysis to support project objectives.
• Oversee data collection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and modifying survey plans and maps.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the surveying process.
• Coordinate fieldwork activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior survey staff and technicians.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate surveying data into broader project frameworks.
