Nuclear Cardiologist Opening in Kansas City, MO - Located in Kansas City, MO- Full time; Employed- Board Eligible / Board Certified- Competitive salary not based on productivity- Advanced training in Nuclear Cardiology including PET required- The candidate will be joining six nuclear cardiologists- Leadership opportunities available- Nuclear Cardiology is part of the Cardiovascular Radiologic Imaging Department which is part of the Cardiology Service Line and also includes Cardiovascular CT and Cardiac MRI- The department has 4 nuclear cardiology laboratories located in each of the system hospitals across the KC metro area- Each site has PET-CT and SPECT capabilities, including digital PET- Approximately 8,000 nuclear studies are performed annually, with the majority being PET studies- The applicant would be expected to have an interest in, and be actively involved in, clinical research- The applicant can request a percentage of time be dedicated to clinical research through our unique Clinical Scholars Program- While expertise in additional cardiac imaging modalities is not a prerequisite, accommodations will be made according to the applicants training, expertise and interests About the location : - Faith-based, not-for-profit organization- Health System is an aligned organization where physicians and staff assume responsibility for enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual health of people in the metropolitan Kansas City area and the surrounding regions- Kansas City area boasts high-quality schools and friendly neighborhoods- The greater Kansas City metro area is a vibrant, growing community known for its barbecue, jazz, thriving arts scene, world champion sports teams, natural beauty, and exceptional quality of life- You'll also find dozens of museums, shopping and entertainment districts, wineries and breweries, the Kansas City Zoo, hiking and biking trails, and a diverse array of restaurants
