The Spirit of the Position :

TheGaragePorterensures that assigned garages are maintained and cleaned daily. Youwill do vehicle damage inspections in the morning and clean garages for the remainder of yourshift.

Compensation : $19.00-$21.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday 6 am-2 pm

Principal Job Duties :

Ensure garages aremaintained and cleaned daily.

Responsible for general maintenance of thegarage and surface lots sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, wiping down surfaces and equipment

Assist maintenance employees with snow removal and garage upkeep during winter months

Completing all checklist duties promptly

Greetcustomers using their name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, display a caring attitude, and develop a rapport with the customer base.

Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help.

Assist customersover the intercom system, in lobbies, lanes, and the parking office.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education :

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Experience :

Experience with general facility maintenance is required.

• Valid Driver's License with 2+ years of experience

Experience in customer relations.

Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills :

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

Willingness to be flexible and work multiple facility locations.

Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations.

Must be able to work unsupervised.

Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.

Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
