As an Interventional Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will work closely under the supervision of the Nurse Manager / Clinical Coordinator. You are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individual patient care in accordance with unit policies and procedures. You will also supervise non-RN personnel and, when in a charge role, delegate and oversee unit activities. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to assist in other nursing units as needed. Your dedication will ensure a high standard of service across the department.

Qualifications
Education :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Proficient in computer software, including electronic patient records, and capable of conducting literature searches regarding patient care.

Licensure :
Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
Special Skills :
BLS certification required.
