Job Description
David Weekley Homes is seeking a Process Automation Specialist focusing on Microsoft Power Platform with a broad range of experience from Power Automate to RPA to Low Code and beyond. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in supporting, administrating, and developing systems automations that are used by the business each day.
Key Accountabilities and Objectives:
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver customized, high-quality solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on technical best practices, app architecture, and performance optimization strategies.
Continuous Improvement and Learning
- Enhance and maintain existing applications by integrating new features, addressing user feedback, and refining overall functionality.
- Commitment to staying current with Microsoft platform updates and new Power Automate capabilities.
Workflow Automation
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to support and extend application functionality.
- Improve operational efficiency by integrating Power Apps with Power Automate and other Microsoft or third-party systems.
- Apply Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices to ensure structured development, deployment, and maintenance of Power Platform solutions.
Compliance and Documentation
- Security & Compliance Awareness: Ensure all automation solutions adhere to organizational security standards and data governance policies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and FAQs to support training and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Expertise in identifying automation opportunities and streamlining business operations.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills for addressing automation challenges.
- Proven expertise in business process automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong background in process analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong desire to design, build reliable and secure systems that you own and provide ongoing support.
Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices for Power Platform solutions.
- Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Proficient in SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Excel for seamless workflow integration.
- Conditional Logic & Expressions: Strong ability to build and manage complex flows using advanced logic.
- SQL & Databases: Basic proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL for supporting data-driven workflows.
- Error Handling & Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues in automated workflows.
- Scripting & Low-Code Development is a plus: Experience with JavaScript, Python, JSON, or PowerShell to support more complex automation scenarios would be nice, but is not required

Work Location: This position is based at our Houston headquarters, near I-10 Katy Freeway & 610 W. Loop N. Fwy. We offer a hybrid work setup with a mix of work from home and office each week, based on the needs of the business at any point in time, applicants must live locally.
