Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of payments and recording of expenses for TECO Energy and its subsidiaries, including Tampa Electric Company, Peoples Gas Systems, New Mexico Gas Company, TECO Partners, and Seacoast. This role maintains vendor master data, payable controls, and records while providing support to business units on payables-related matters. Youll work under direct to moderate supervision, with training and mentoring from senior team members to build expertise.

Storm Duty Requirements
Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment. Team members are required to participate in the response / recovery activities related to emergencies / disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
