A leading oncology care center in Greenville, SC is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant - Oncology for long-term locum coverage. Step into a supportive environment where you'll work with a collaborative team of dedicated physicians and APPs providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric oncology patients.

Coverage Dates : Feb 1, 2026 - Sept 30, 2026

Profession : Physician Assistant

Specialty : Oncology

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Setting : Outpatient & Inpatient Oncology

Position Highlights

Free-standing cancer center practice

Reason for need : Provider departure

Work alongside 8 physicians + 4 APPs

Patient load : 15 outpatient / day , 20 inpatient / day (during call)

EMR : EPIC

Call Requirements

First call for patient & hospital calls :

Tues 4 : 30 PM - Wed 8 : 00 AM

Fri 4 : 30 PM - Mon 8 : 00 AM

On-site weekend rounding : Saturday & Sunday

Rotation : Every 5-6 weeks , depending on staffing

Clinical Responsibilities

Bone marrow transplant management

Blood bank coordination

Ordering labs, tests & imaging

Prescribing

Collaboration with oncology nursing for chemotherapy administration

Mandatory Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology

Active SC License (or willing to obtain)

BLS

DEA

Must be submitted to both associated job postings (including Job 60840)
