[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures. Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as needed. Assist with emergency response activities, including providing directions, helping to evacuate areas if necessary, and working with first responders. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift as required by Allied Universal and the client site. Communicate with team members, healthcare staff, and visitors to foster a secure and welcoming environment. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Monitor in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
